Following the release of the West African Citizens Awards 2025 nominees list<\/strong>, we are pleased to officially announce the voting procedures and timeline.<\/p>\n

The voting will commence on October 1st, 2025<\/strong>, and close on October 22nd, 2025<\/strong>. Voting will be conducted exclusively online, and the top three (3) nominees with the highest number of votes<\/strong> in each category will advance to the final stage.<\/p>\n

At the next round, the finalists will be assessed based on their achievements and records<\/strong> within the categories they are nominated for. The final selection of winners will uphold the WAFRIC Awards\u2019 standards of credibility, transparency, and fairness<\/strong>. Sentiment or bias will not influence the outcome.<\/p>\n

All nominees are encouraged to inform their communities and supporters to cast their votes during the voting period.<\/p>\n

Kindly note the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. \n

     Each voter can only cast one (1) vote every 24 hours per category<\/strong> using a computer or smartphone.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

     Voting opens on October 1st, 2025<\/strong>, and ends on October 22nd, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

     If you experience issues voting with Opera Mini, please use another web browser.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

     The WAFRIC Awards selection process involves a competitive online voting phase<\/strong>, followed by a merit-based evaluation of the top 3 finalists in each category.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

     No form of sentiment will be involved \u2014 excellence and impact remain the guiding principles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
