The following procedures explain how public voting will be conducted, how finalists will emerge, and how the final winners will be determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Voting Period<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public voting for WAFRIC Awards 2026 will commence on <strong>October 12, 2026, and close on November 15, 2026<\/strong>, covering a five week voting period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All votes must be submitted within the official voting period. Votes submitted after the deadline will not be counted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Voting Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voting is open to members of the public worldwide. Individuals may participate regardless of their country of residence, provided they comply with the established voting rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation is completely free. WAFRIC Awards does not require voters to make payments to cast votes for their preferred nominees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No email verification or voter account registration is required to participate in public voting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Voting Platform and Procedure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voting will be conducted through the official WAFRIC Awards voting pages, using the designated StrawPoll voting polls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each award category will have its own voting poll, allowing voters to select their preferred nominee in each category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To vote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit the official WAFRIC Awards website and access the voting section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the award category you wish to participate in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review the nominees listed in that category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your preferred nominee and submit your vote.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat the process for other categories in which you wish to participate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voters are encouraged to review the nominees carefully before submitting their votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Voting Frequency and Restrictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each voter may vote <strong>once every 24 hours in each award category<\/strong> throughout the official voting period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The voting system uses IP-address-based restrictions to limit repeated voting within the applicable period. Voters should observe the restrictions provided by the voting platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voting is free, and no payment is required to increase a nominee&#8217;s vote count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Selection of Finalists<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the conclusion of public voting, the <strong>three nominees with the highest numbers of valid votes in each category<\/strong> will advance to the finalist stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public voting serves to determine the finalists and provides an opportunity for the public to participate in the recognition process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three finalists in each category will subsequently proceed to the final assessment stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of a tie affecting the third qualifying position, WAFRIC Awards will review the relevant results and determine the appropriate resolution before confirming the finalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Final Winner Selection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public voting does not automatically determine the eventual winner of an award category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the announcement of the top three finalists, the WAFRIC Awards jury will conduct a separate assessment to determine the winner of each category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The jury&#8217;s assessment will consider the finalists&#8217; achievements, records, contributions, and other relevant standards applicable to their respective categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The detailed assessment framework, including the standards used to determine the winners, will be published separately under the title <strong>\u201cWAFRIC Awards 2026 Winning Criteria\u201d<\/strong> after the conclusion of public voting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consequently, receiving the highest number of public votes does not guarantee that a nominee will win the award. Each finalist will be considered through the separate final assessment process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Integrity of the Voting Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WAFRIC Awards encourages fair participation and responsible campaigning throughout the voting period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All votes must be submitted through the designated official voting polls and in accordance with the applicable platform restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attempts to manipulate voting results or circumvent the established voting restrictions are inconsistent with the principles of a fair awards process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WAFRIC Awards reserves the right to review voting results and address irregularities before confirming the finalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Announcement of Finalists and Winners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the close of voting, the results will be reviewed before the top three finalists in each category are officially confirmed and announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The finalists will then proceed to the jury assessment stage, after which the winners will be determined in accordance with the separately published Winning Criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advancing to the finalist stage does not constitute a guarantee of winning an award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. General Provisions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By participating in the WAFRIC Awards 2026 public voting process, voters agree to observe these procedures and any applicable instructions displayed on the official voting pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WAFRIC Awards reserves the right to clarify or address procedural matters that arise during the voting process, provided that the integrity of the process is maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any official updates concerning the voting process will be communicated through WAFRIC Awards&#8217; recognized platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognizing Excellence Across West Africa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WAFRIC Awards celebrates the individuals, businesses, organizations, and professionals whose achievements contribute to the development, creativity, and progress of West Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We encourage the public to participate responsibly, support their preferred nominees, and join us in recognizing exceptional contributions across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WAFRIC Awards 2026<\/strong><br><em>Recognizing the Unseen.
